COLLEGE COUNSELING

At HATCH we recognize that preparation for college is part of the high school experience. We also believe that high school should be its own learning adventure, so we don't begin the formal college search and application process until students start the 11th grade. At that time, students will begin meeting with their college counselor to discuss their post-high school goals, research colleges of interest, and begin drafting applications. College counselors emphasize student ownership of the process and help each student articulate their strengths as they work together to find the best school for each individual’s continued personal and intellectual growth.
